Ling long women’s magazine, published in Shanghai from 1931 to 1937, was popular during a time of dramatic material, social, and political change in China. Today, the magazine offers researchers a unique glimpse into women’s lives in Republican-era (1911-49) Shanghai. (X)

I would love it if you did vintage hair tutorials! I used to have long hair but when I started getting into vintage clothing I ended up cutting it shoulder length because I didn't know you could style long hair in a 40's style. Then I learned that your hair was long and I regretted cutting off all those years of hard work :( So any instructions or even just tips of vintage styling for long hair would be greatly appreciated. Have a good one <3

Thank you so much for the lovely encouragement :D I will admit that my hair is getting pretty close to being too long (a few inches below my waist now) to create true vintage styles but I’m always up for the challenge! It may be a while before I start publishing these tutorials to my Blogger, but it will certainly happen eventually xx
